Food

We have made a lot of changes in our house over the last year or so. We are not perfect in the way we eat, we never will be, but I am proud of the changes that we have made! I personally notice a huge difference in the way I feel when I eat good. We have done a lot more fruits and vegetables, and whole foods. We try to limit the processed foods, junk food, soda and candy. I have been trying to teach my kids that these things are just for once in a while. The older I have gotten, the healthier I have wanted to be. Especially for teaching my kids good habits. And I have to admit, they are pretty good fruit and veggie eaters! Makes me happy! I could go on all day. I have had a lot of fun learning about all the changes that we have made in my house. The more you know!

Grace Turns SEVEN!!!

My sweet & sassy Grace turned 7 !!! We started the day off with whole wheat/oat/cornmeal buttermilk chocolate chip pancakes, made from scratch of course! Pancakes are a weekend staple at my house. I don't buy cereal.


Next was presents of course! She got a journal, sports bra, quilt for her bed, and a few "brats" dolls.


Grace chose to spend the day with her family at Planet Play for some birthday fun! Then Grace and I went and got manicures and went high heel shopping while Dad got in a little super bowl time! Grace has been begging for high heels. We got lucky and found some on clearance for five bucks! The day didn't end here, oh no! Next we were off to Grandma Sherries for dinner, then next to Grandma/Grandpa Casper's for banana cream pie! We are so dang lucky to have such a beautiful and spunky little girl in our lives. She is so creative, very artistic and unique. We LOVE you Grace!!!

2013

So I took an entire year off from updating my blog! We have gone without cable and Internet at my house for over a year now and really, this is the only thing I have missed! I finally got an iPhone and bought myself an app ... So excited to keep up now! One of these days I will figure out how to get my favorite 2012 pictures posted. As for now, on with 2013! Kohen steals the stage with the first photo in a long time! He is now 3 1/2 ... And the cutest cowboy I have ever seen!
